I am drawn to natural finds, collections of place and time, abstract memories of walking the landscape. My work hopes to preserve these memories, and the ties that bind us to these talismans. I hope to draw a viewer in to see something new or to remind them of their own perhaps forgotten memory.
I use a vintage polaroid SX70 camera to see and ‘draw’ with, these physical analogue film images act as a sketch from which, with paint and paper the resulting images emerge.
