Mac McCaughan

The greatest challenge with making furniture is striking the balance between form and function to create something new and striking without compromising on comfort. I elaborate on traditional techniques and apply an extensive experience with carpentry and blacksmithing to give me the freedom to experiment with materials, and allow the joy of designing to be surpassed by the pleasure taken in making. The wood, steel, glass and fabrics are carefully selected and assembled to create surprising and unconventional furniture that’s durable, well built and fit for purpose.
