ARTWORKS: Contemporary East Anglian Artists – apply for exhibition in Autumn 2019

We welcome new artists to exhibit with ARTWORKS in 2019. As the exhibition is limited to thirty artists, vacancies will vary from year to year. Each autumn, after the Artworks Annual Exhibition, we invite new applications from professional artists living and working in the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire. You will need to be a practising artist based (working and living) in East Anglia to apply, as this is a feature of the group. In 2019 we are celebrating our twentieth year! Join us!

Artworks Annual Exhibition 2018

All contemporary art is considered, including painting and drawing (oil, acrylic, watercolour, collage, mixed media), fine art printmaking (etching, lithography, woodcut, silkscreen), sculpture and 3D work, including bronze, stone, glass, ceramics, metalwork and mixed media. Work may be representational or abstract, narrative or conceptual – we are looking for professional artists whose work will enhance the high standard of artworks we showcase in our annual exhibition.

For the first year, artists exhibiting with Artworks are guest members, and thereafter can re-apply for permanent membership.

Artists’ applications are considered on the quality of the work presented on the selection day. There is no shortlisting by application form or photographs. There is no fee to apply. All applications are considered.

After receipt of your application, you will be invited to present a selection of your recent work in early February 2019.

Application forms are available to download on the Apply page. Closing date for applications is Thursday 31st January 2019.

For advice on completing your application, please contact Eileen Revett, our membership secretary, via the Apply page.
